Snapped at BG: Part 13

Whether you’re a resident of NYC or just visiting, you know that Bergdorf Goodman is where you’ll find the most fashionable people in town. In our eleventh installation of Snapped at BG, we got to know some of the interesting people and fashion enthusiasts who come to discover the world of Bergdorf Goodman.

Ephraim Feuer, New York Resident

The first time I came to Bergdorf Goodman was to buy a necktie for my wedding. The brand was Countess Mara. My style? Old School. I’ve had this hat for at least 15 years, my wife has been trying forever to get me to replace it.”

Lauren Riley, Visiting from England

“I’m here from England on an art trip for college. I’m studying textiles and photography and I’d like to get a job in fashion some day. My favorite designers are John Galliano and Alexander McQueen. I have a part time job working in a fabric store, that’s where I found the fabric for these pants that I made.”
Sophia Hall, New York Resident

I’m a painter and I’m studying at Parsons.
I’m here with my mom because today is my 19th birthday. We just had tea at The Plaza. This jacket is my sister’s. I can’t believe she let me borrow it. It’s from Free People. I love how ornamented it is. It’s very maximalist. Usually my style is very minimalist.”

Celine Soniat, New York Resident
Celine is almost 2 years old. She’s wearing Dolce Gabanna and her shoes are Aquazzura. Her mother said that she dresses her this way all the time.
“I have no idea how I would dress a boy! For a good sense of style I think I do a lot better with a girl. I love what Gucci is doing for kids these days. She’s finally able to wear the two year clothes which give us a lot more options.”

Luisa Taddei, New York Resident

“My suit is 2001 Bottega Veneta. People always comment when I wear it. Just as I was walking here a couple of guys working at a parking lot yelled out ‘Lady, you’re rocking that suit!’ My sense of fashion is very inspired by art. I love art. I’m a volunteer at the Metropolitan Museum in Visitor Services.”

Rachel Alonso-Mendoza, New York Resident

Describe my style? Well, I go to galas but I also do yoga, so I guess I’d say free spirited but classy. I’m the communications director for The Cuban Artists Fund. When I was little I wanted to be a photographer when I grew up. I went to school at the art institute of Boston.”

Gianna Do, New York Resident

“My style is street but chic. I’m wearing my own brand, we make shearling coats. It’s called Anonie. When I was little I wanted to be an astronaut, but I was bad at physics and math and I get motion sickness easily. My second choice was to be a designer. So the moral of the story is to have a plan b!”
