Akris’s Albert Kriemler took color-blocking to a new level with this Runway collection. Just when we asked ourselves how the concept could possibly be further evolved, Albert answered us with fabric colorblocking – patchwork at its most luxurious, with elements of camelhair, calfskin, leather, and, of course, cashmere! Elizabeth and I couldn’t resist trying on our favorite pieces.

And Linda had the foresight to wear shocking pink. It was if she knew that, for the first time, Albert had decided to adorn the creamy white walls with a few of his favorite pieces.
