Gareth was quite extraordinary! He is a real talent, and young, with years ahead of him, and I’m proud to say we carry him. Yes, he sent out some insane editorial highly shaggy sculptural fur and fiber looks, but there were also some amazing leather cage pieces, quite shapely ala Alaia-esque, but uniquely his own. He’s a masterful tailor and his execution in his sculptural shapes is very fine. He played mostly in black and grey, leathers, satin?, fur, dry clean black cloth, and often cut on the diagonal…
Rick Owens and Michelle were there for him.
He’s kind of a genius!
