WHO: Laura Mercier for Marchesa
BEAUTY NOTES: Quite angelic and serene. Luminous skin and soft flecks of gold.
TOOLS OF THE TRADE: (All Laura Mercier) Face – Start with Mega-Moisturizer Crème. Apply a mixture of Hydrating Foundation Primer and Foundation Primer Radiance to the entire face to give it an iridescent base. Next, Silk Crème Foundation is used to give skin a porcelain, marbleized look. Highlight with a mixture of Hydrating Foundation Primer and Foundation Primer Radiance. Lips — Mix Crème Smooth Lip Colour in Merlot and Crème Smooth Lip Colour in Haute Red (NEW: Available Fall 2012). Apply to the center of the mouth. Using fingers, press color and allow the pigment to bleed outwards. Eyes – Eye Canvas is applied to the lid as a base. Next, Illuminating Eye Colour in Gilded Moonshine (NEW: Available Fall 2012) is used as a liner around the entire edge of the eye. Center Faux Lashes are used to give the eye a rounded shape. Complete the look with several coats of Full Blown Volume Lash Building Mascara.
