Usually, runway makeup is an over-the-top display of color and texture. And from there, we interpret the key trend and translate the look for real life. The look for Helmut Lang feels highly relatable and easily replicated. Try a mix of brow powder (for density) and brow grooming brush (for shape) to achieve this modern look.

For Alexander Wang, NARS used soft gradations of matte grey and brown on lids. Brows are full and brushed upwards. Cheeks are sculpted and lips are natural.

The big takeaway here is softly contoured eyes. The use of matte gives shape without adding too much impact. The lack of shimmer leads to an understated feel. Try this look when going for the the “no makeup” effect.
