I love glitzy, smoky eyes and ruby red lips for holiday.  It’s a classic go-to look for this time of year. Chantecaille’s Holiday 2012 Collection (212 872 2725) is all about festive lids, luminous skin, and high-wattage lips. Follow my super easy step-by-step tutorial to create a glam look that’s sure to light up your next holiday soiree.

1. Start with Chantecaille’s Les Fete holiday palette.  Sometimes smoky eyes can make your eyes look smaller, so to prevent that, add the pearly shade first. This brightens your lids. Prime lids using “Moonstone”. Apply generously to eyelid.

2. Next, apply “Pink Sapphire” over “Moonstone” and blend. This creates the prettiest, most perfect pearly shade.

3. Now for the drama! Using an angled brush, apply “Diamond” on the top lid as a thick line.

4. Soften and highlight look by dusting Les Peteles on the cheekbones and nose bridge. This enhances the complexion and leaves a sheer, flattering glow.

5.  Apply Nocturne lipstick and then finish with Glamour lip gloss for added shine.
