We asked MiMi, our VP of Men’s Sportswear & Shoes to have a primp fest with the collection & share her hero product for fall.

MIMI’S PICK: L’Absolu Crème De Mat in Prune Mantille – This is a little more exciting than usual. In the tube, I thought it was a color that I would never wear. It’s fuchsia. . . it’s purple – oh, I don’t know exactly! But I ended up loving it. Maybe because it’s more on the matte than glossy side, so it’s easier to wear. The great thing about it is, I thought it was a regular gloss but it has more of the formulation of a long-wear lip product. I only had to put it on once in the morning and it pretty much lasted all day. It did get a little dry-looking by around 3pm or 4pm, but I just put some lip balm on top of it and applied a touch-up of the product and it was as good as new. I was feeling bold the morning I tried it and wore it to work but I think I’d be more comfortable wearing it at night. . . . or with a monochromatic outfit with just the lips popping. – MiMi, VP of Men’s Sportswear & Shoes

EDITOR’S PICK: Much like MiMi, I’m particularly drawn to L’Absolu Crème De Mat. It’s a new breed of lip product that we’re starting to see make the rounds. It glides on like a gloss but delivers the color payoff of a rich lipstick. The formula is liquid upon application, but quickly dries to a velvety matte finish – pretty cool, huh? We think so, too!
