CLAIRE’S PICK: Rouge G Lipstick in Genna (212 872 2734) – I have been looking for the perfect, punchy, vibrant shade of orange for the longest time. . . and I think I have found it! Genna is a great shade for mid-summer and transitions nicely into fall. It applies very smooth and my lips feel moisturized when I wear it. The only negative for me is I wish the tube wasn’t so heavy – though the snazzy flip-up mirror does come in handy…seems like a fair trade off! - Claire, Third Floor Assistant Buyer

ERICA’S PICK: Rouge G Lipstick in Gisela (212 872 2734) – What I like most about Gisela is the casing. It’s super chic and cute, and to have the mirror with the lipstick is a WIN WIN! The color is more of a brick red, which is perfect for fierce daytime wear. I would describe the texture as moist and comfortable which is good because I don’t feel like I have chapped lips when wearing it…I actually forget that I am even wearing lipstick when I sport Gisela — however I recommend lip primer underneath to get the most out of each wear. I thought I wouldn’t like this shade because I don’t wear lipstick at all and it’s definitely a bold move. I actually like Gisela quite a bit because it enhances the makeup I wear everyday. This shade is good for the office as well as a night out…well, maybe not for a date night out — the fellows don’t like messy red kisses.
