Here’s a novel idea. Swap your steady eddy blush du jour for the warming, sun-kissed, healthy hue of bronzer.  Whether your complexion is fair or dark, a subtle and perfectly placed dusting of  bronzer can lift, sculpt, and punctuate cheekbones you didn’t know existed. We show you how:

Supplies

Guerlain Terracotta Spray Bronzing Powder Mist (212 872 2734)

Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder (212 872 2734)

1. Start with your usual foundation or tinted moisturizer. For Felicia/ @ThisThatBeauty we’re using Guerlain Terracotta Spray Bronzing Powder Mist in Medium.

2. Select a shade of bronzer that’s slightly deeper than your natural complexion. Go too deep and the finished result will look unnaturally tan. Go too light and the final look will appear washed out. For Felicia, we are using Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder #8. This shade gives a rich, bronzing effect and also contours the face. Shade #3 is also an appropriate option for Felicia’s complexion.

3. Apply bronzer using a loose-haired fluffy face blush. Begin application at the highest point of the cheek. For guidance on product placement location, reference our previous article “Beauty Fear: Blush”…we share tips on proper blush placement based on your face shape.

4. Dust both cheeks, forehead, and temples for a sheer, warming effect.

5. Voila! You are stunning.
