#BGTutorial: Natural Looking Eyeliner
Ever feel like your eyes need a little, ahem, help? Nothing as intense as sultry, smoky lids or sharply winged liner….just a little “extra help”. Today we teach you how to line your eyes in a way that is soft, natural, and barely detectable but makes a world of difference. Follow along to learn our Beauty Girl’s favorite liner trick!
This one’s super simple, girls. We’re going to line our upper and lower lash line at the same time. Yes, simultaneously!
- Close eye around the khol…I promise, this won’t hurt a bit.
- Next, run Guerlain Khol Kajal from one end of eye to the other. Personally, I like to give a few extra runs at the outer corners to create a bit more intensity.
- To give the whole look a super natural feel, run your ring finger across the line to smudge the line just a bit.
- Voila! Here’s our final look! Easy, natural looking liner. In the before/after side-by-side shot, note that the lined eyes appear softly rimmed and vibrant.
On choosing your liner shade – While “black” is a classic, go-to shade and works well for most complexions, it’s fun to veer off the path and try other options. We suggest:
Fair skin tone: Pewter, Soft Gray, and Taupe
Medium skin tone: Espresso, Charcoal, and Aubergine
Dark skin tone: Mahogany, Navy, and rich jewel-tones like Emerald, Sapphire, and Amethyst.
