Each Friday we seem to find ourselves browsing sunny 5F for the latest looks to complete our weekend look.
It only made sense to turn our regular tradition into a regular date on 5th/58th.

This week’s focus? Night Life.

Once spring hits Fashion City things get a bit more…electric.  With sidewalks bustling with cafe diners and dusk-time revelers making the most of these lush early-evening hours, we can’t help but want to shine a bit brighter (metallic nails, by the by, are another interest of ours this week).  So, whether it’s a shimmering, shining frock from Alice + Olivia (do make a point to pop by 5F this Saturday — they have a fantastic jet-setter’s gift* for you when you shop!) or a neon number from Catherine Malandrino, remember this: don’t try too hard.  When your dress has a bit of shine on it, it’s best to keep your accessories and shoes toned down and fun.  Pair your metallic body-con DVF number with a leather bomber, Dannijo mashup and high-tops — you’ll soon find that this unexpected twist is a great replacement to the jeans, fun top and clutch combo (although that it a look we still love).
