Bergdorf Goodman is honoring Peruvian craftsmanship with a partnership that celebrates Peru’s rich history of Alpaca, Pima cotton and Vicuña production while highlighting modern techniques and design. In partnership with Alpaca Del Peru, Bergdorf Goodman is featuring ready-to-wear from and inspired by Peru in a fifth floor pop up shop, the 58th Street windows, the September Magazine and a special BG Restaurant menu offering. The #PERUxBG pop-up is open through Monday, October 15th.
Inside the pop up shop, you will find specially curated pieces that include Peruvian manufactured fashion. The shop evokes the essence of Peru, which is characterized by the country’s rich heritage, adventurous attitude, luxurious eco-friendliness and refined style. “We’re thrilled to partner with Alpaca Del Peru tooffer a selection of luxurious fashion knits made entirely from Alpaca as well as Pima cotton staples woven with thefinest fibers,” says Brooke Fisher, VP/DMM, Women’s Contemporary at Bergdorf Goodman. “The shop features Peruvian designers new to Bergdorf Goodman such as Alessandra Petersen, Art Atlas, AYNI, Escudo and Meche Correa as well aspieces produced in Peru from Tibi, Helmut Lang, Rachel Comey, Rag & Bone and more.”
