Moncler Genius was first conceptualized by the brand’s CEO Remo Ruffini as a hub of exceptional minds in fashion operating in unison while cultivating their own unique collections. It was presented as a whole in the Moncler Genius building this past February, on the opening night of Milan Fashion Week.
This week at BG marks the launch of 6 Moncler Noir Kei Ninomiya, designed by Ninomiya, who started his career as a patterner for Comme des Garcons before launching his Noir label in 2012. With his collection for #WeAreGenius, he explored the idea of wearable geometry using nylon and leather to create feminine shapes with a punk-meets-romantic vibe.
