The spring collections have arrived at BG and while they all have something unique to offer, it seems that a lot of designers looked to eras past for inspiration when creating pieces for women today. Whether it’s Attico’s sequin feather-hem dress, which harps on those worn by flappers in the 1920s or Racil’s tailored suiting that recalls the look made iconic by style legend Katharine Hepburn, there are endless ways to bring elements of the past into the present.
To further drive this point home, we brought some of our favorite looks (in addition to those mentioned above) to a historic landmark close to BG’s heart, The Plaza Hotel. Its luxurious gold finishes and grand entryways provided the perfect backdrop for an eighties-inspired Isabel Marant moment, Chanel’s ultra-modern tracksuit, and a Saint Laurent denim-on-denim getup that could have been plucked straight from Woodstock. See all of the looks below and shop them now in store and on BG.com.
