Now in its new home at Bergdorf Goodman for almost half a year, iconic French brand Schiaparelli unveils its third story, “The Secret Garden of Schiaparelli, exclusively on our fourth floor. Each story is a concise edit of twisted classics that play on the house themes and weave together elements of the past and present to create a limited-edition range of wardrobe staples.
Drawing upon Schiaparelli’s Autumn 1938 “Païenne” collection based on Italian Renaissance paintings like Botticelli’s The Birth of Venus, Story #3 features exquisite butterflies, ladybugs, beetles, spiders, and flower mantises sprawled upon eye-catching garments like color-blocked blazers, silk jacquard jackets, tailored trousers and more. Serving as the perfect accent to these surrealist-inspired looks are precious hair accessories designed by world-renowned hair stylist John Nollet.
To showcase the new collection we tapped Charlotte Groeneveld of The Fashion Guitar, who took a few looks out for a spin around Schiaparelli’s Parisian atelier in Place Vendôme. See the looks above and shop the collection in store on 4.
Join us tonight as we raise a glass to Story #3 alongside Nollet and Bergdorf Goodman’s very own Linda Fargo from 2PM-7PM in the Schiaparelli shop on the fourth floor.
