I was a young lad strolling around the City with my mother. It was Bring Your Annoying Son to Work Day; and, to give her coworkers a break, my mom took me to 5th & 58th – Bergdorfs!  As she was strolling around (looking at handbags, if I recall), I decided to take matters into my own hands: I went straight for the shoes! Twenty minutes later my mom found me with one foot in a pair of 6 inch heels. I don’t think she has ever been prouder!
