MFW: Ermenegildo Zegna

Milan Fashion Week commenced with Alessandro Sartori’s return to the Ermenegildo Zegna runway, which was held in a gigantic hangar outside of town that is the home of Anselm Kiefer’s massive work, seven textured concrete towers entitled “The Seven Heavenly Palaces”. The space set an appropriately dramatic scene for the Couture collection that was “a merging of the intensely artisanal and the resolutely contemporary”. It was a mixture of active inspirations and classical tailoring, meant to reflect and address the needs of the  “contemporary and urban globe trotter.” Bravo Alessandro!

Shop Ermenegildo Zegna now on 2 at Goodman’s men’s store.
