Moncler Genius was first conceptualized by the brand’s CEO Remo Ruffini as a hub of exceptional minds in fashion operating in unison while cultivating their own unique collections. It was presented as a whole in the Moncler Genius building this past February, on the opening night of Milan Fashion Week.
This week at Goodman’s marks the launch of 7 Moncler Fragment Hiroshi Fujiwara, designed by Fujiwara, who was dubbed by Business of Fashion “a cultural DJ and godfather of Harajuku, the Japanese capital’s ground-zero for streetwear”. With his collection for #WeAreGenius, he transformed simple items like t-shirts, hoodies, and bomber jackets into fashion-forward pieces decorated with the word “BACKSTAGE” in a graffiti-style and fit for a myriad of men.
