Legendary New York Times fashion photographer Bill Cunningham’s unerring eye contributed to his treasure trove of imagery that spanned over decades, capturing industry names and stylish pedestrians who have become lifelong fans. Individuals from both of those camps gathered at Bergdorf Goodman last night to celebrate the launch of the coffee table book tribute to the late photographer titled, Bill Cunningham: On the Street: Five Decades of Iconic Photography.
The evening’s guest list included Cathy Horyn, one of the book’s contributors, along with Carlyne Cerf De Dudzeele, famed stylist and favorite subject of Cunningham’s, Stefano Tonchi, Olivia Palermo, Vogue’s Tonne Goodman, Princess Deena Aljuhani Abdulaziz, shoe designer Alexandre Birman, and many more. With Cunningham’s photographs sprawling the walls of our 4th floor, the event was a beautiful way to remember such a beloved talent.
