We like a good tradition, and, when possible, we like to improve upon it—that’s why we enjoy ornaments when they’re a little bit cheeky. Take this year’s edition of our beloved Linda ornament—that would be our fashion director Linda Fargo.  Her ornament sold out quickly last year, so consider yourself warned. There’s more: Margaret Larkin’s beloved decorated trees, brilliant hand-blown ornaments from Germany and Poland, and chocolate everywhere you turn. Nothing says holidays in New York like our windows. They’re a year in the making and a tradition that draws a worldwide audience (and more photographs than you can count). This year’s theme, “BG Follies of 2012,” is inspired by the magnificent atmosphere of American entertainment of the 1920s and 30s.
