NEW SHOES NEWS

We’ve got a new hotspot for contemporary shoes on 5F.  Sophia Webster was a star fashion student when she apprenticed to Nicholas Kirkwood, the young shoemaker star in London’s fashion firmament.   Recognizing a kindred spirit Kirkwood promised his design assistant that he would help launch her own collection in two years. Well, time’s up and here is an astoundingly fresh collection of colorful and sculptural shoes destined to floor avant-fashionistas.  Joining in the fun is the Theysken’s Theory Resort shoe collection, with re-imagined classics from pumps to combat boots.

He’s the fourth generation of the family that founded Myrurgia, one of the world’s most eminent perfumers, and he has spent a lifetime studying the art and science of scent with the masters.  He has created dozens of fragrances for various brands but now he has his own line and a workshop on the Mediterranean where he answers to no one, nothing but his own imagination. His rare, artisanal fragrances are ours alone.
