Here and Now: Something Completely Different
It's a new world. Conformity and anonymity are extinct. It's every man for himself - which is why we've transformed our Men's Store, and it gets better every day. Here are some new additions and coveted exclusives.

KAPITAL IDEAS
Located in Kojima, the center of artisanal Japanese fabric making, Kapital started out as a sewing factory with the highest standards of craftsmanship and handwork. Eventually, through the adoption of American machinery, the designer Kiro’s encyclopedic knowledge of vintage American sportswear, and their own mastery of denim techniques, Kapital became the capital of Japanese jeans making. From weaving to dyeing to sewing and washing, its techniques are true trade secrets of the world’s most coveted jeans.

ORLEY IS A NEW ORIGINAL
We’re looking forward to this brand-new American knitwear line. The Orley brothers from Detroit and their Canadian childhood pal Samantha Florence got together after training with Helmut Lang, Rag & Bone and Thom Browne. But one look at the line shows that it’s 100 percent original, colorful and amusing.

GROUNDBREAKING WINDBREAKERS
The ultimate classic windbreaker jacket is the Baracuta G9, first made in Stockport, England, and introduced in 1937. Beloved by generations of iconic males from Arnold Palmer to Frank Sinatra to Steve McQueen to the Clash, it’s recognized by the distinctive Fraser tartan lining. Although it was once limited to navy and khaki, now we have new interpretations in exclusive stripes and shades.

THE SHIRT—WILD STYLE
Saint Paul designer Jungho Geortay approaches fashion like fine art. His print shirts are as graphically explosive and conceptually skewed as anything you’ll find hanging in a gallery. Stints with Lanvin, Enzo, Gaultier and Paul & Joe allowed him to develop his distinctive style, and his shirts, which carry hidden messages, will intrigue anyone who dares to be different.

MANOLO SOLO
This chic driving shoe was born in Capri. Manolo Blahnik was having a coffee when he saw a man step out of a pale blue 1968 Mercedes-Benz. He sketched this shoe on the spot. It was first introduced for women; we’re introducing it for men.
